The Legend of Beacon the Bright Little Firefly — Joe Troiano

Did you ever watch fireflies light up the sky? Some flash bright. Some flash low. Some flash fast. Some flash slow. Well, it wasn't always that way. It all began a long time ago when a firefly named Beacon chose not to glow. Beacon knew the rule they all had to obey -- every firefly had to glow exactly the same way. But Beacon marched to a different drum. He thought flashing your taillight ought to be fun. And then one night, when they needed him most, would the other fireflies realize Beacon was right?
