Fifteen years later, a critically wounded Vietnam veteran exacts revenge on the remaining members of his army unit for leaving him to die. When a young lady goes missing and later found dead, and another young woman is missing, a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation is called upon to help local authorities with the case and, after the veteran's identity is determined, his mental condition is blamed on post-traumatic stress disorder. The killings continue and the chase ensues until he makes a mistake that eventually brings about his demise. This thrilling murder mystery eventually involves the FBI on a national level to catch the serial killer, who has eluded local, state and national authorities.
