NOW THAT I AM BACK AT HILLTOP, I AM AFRAID...AFRAID...AFRAID!
Why did I return to the big Victorian farmhouse on the hill, with the cliff nearby?
I have a rendezvous with fate. That's why I am here again. It all comes back to me now: the unsettling scent of gardenia; the haunted attic; my half-brother's tormented eyes; the car going over the cliff. Was it an accident or murder?
I look at my half-brother Robert and see the silent horror in his face. I fear for his sanity - and mine. But most of all, I fear that I will never be able to leave Hilltop alive!
