Description
Carrie Bendix and her sister inherit their uncle's ranch in the middle of California gold country. They revisit the ranch where they'd enjoyed many wonderful summers as children, but decide to put it up for sale, returning to the city. When Carrie finds her life has turned upside down in her absence, she puts herself in harm's way accidentally and childhood friend, Russ Roberts, comes to her aid. Sparks fly between them, so she returns to Lonesome Creek to give country life and a new relationship with Russ a try. Unsure of herself personally or professionally, Carrie may have taken on more than she can handle. A town crisis pushes them over the edge and the decisions she must make will affect her family's legacy as well as the love she feels for Russ.
