Rendezvous — Jason R. Hemmings

A mysterious letter arrives for Giovanni from someone claiming to be his late wife, who he had assumed died years ago, asking to meet with a series of secret rendezvous'. Fabier is naturally suspicious and believes it to be a ruse from someone who wants to get even with Giovanni. So Giovanni hires Alex to help him find his late wife or expose the truth. There are a couple of added problems for Fabier though, with the unexpected appearance of the Silent Shadow, who has returned to taunt him and a difficult rendezvous with an old flame, Danielle Dubois; Alex's first love. The case takes him to California, France and Italy, but can Fabier unravel the mysteries of the rendezvous' in time to save his friend's life and indeed his own?
