‘When one door closes' is not a phrase Grace wants to hear right now. Her fiancé unexpectedly broke up with her and every place she goes brings back memories. She needs to get away for a little while, so she picks a direction, packs her bags, and heads out on a road trip. Her first stop is a small town in Vermont where she decides to spend a few days learning how to ski. Her first day on the slopes is a complete disaster, but she meets several wonderfully amusing new friends later in the day. These friends show Grace how laughter and having fun will help her get over her heartache, but that is not all these friends are trying to do. They have discovered their beloved sheriff, Daniel, is crazy about Grace, and they are trying to convince her that love is worth one more try.
