A Patrot Treason — James Fontana

In the closing days of WW II American troops unexpectedly encounter Russian troops in Germany just before the final assault on Berlin. The meet-up gives rise years later to an international conspiracy between the American President and the USSR Chairman; both are misguided visionaries in a treasonous plot to exchange ultimate weaponry, hoping to prevent future wars by compromising their countries' defenses. In a race against time, discredited CIA agent Evan Trent is recruited to uncover and kill the potentially cataclysmic plot.
