Scottish blood has been shed for centuries and few can dispute the strength of this race of warriors but does their courage and spirit come from the blood that runs through their veins? Does it come from the clean air in the Highlands or the pure water in the lochs or something else? When all is said and done, when all the carnage on the battlefields has been washed away, what remains of Scotland?
