When Charlie Scree plotted a mail van robbery, he could not foresee that the spot he had chosen to hide the loot would be the playground for a small boy. Scree murders the van driver, and takes the child with him. However, Scree's companion in crime, nicknamed Silver, has his own ideas. Scree is betrayed to the police, and Silver becomes the sole possessor of the secret - except for the boy. In desperation, Silver sets out to murder him...
