Creena and her father were worried to death about her mother, who after a severe illness had been warned that if she wanted to get better she must live in a tropical climate.

So it seemed the opportunity of a lifetime when Adrian Ferguson offered Creena a job -- and a home - -- in the lovely Seychelles Islands. The home, on an island called, unbelievably, The Enchanted Isle, would ensure her mother's recovery.

The job would consist of cruising around the other islands with wealthy tourists. There were just two snags: Adrian seemed just a little mysterious about his affairs. Could Creena really trust him? The other was a most annoying man called Mervin Hamilton who seemed determined to wreck her happiness in her new job. How dared he?
