Princess Chamomile Gets Her Way — Hiawyn Oram

The headstrong heroine of this charming picture book is completely fed up. She's not allowed to wear anything but fussy, frilly princess dresses; she's not allowed to leave the castle grounds; and she's never, never allowed to eat sweets. So Princess Chamomile decides to take matters into her own paws. Early one morning she escapes from the overprotective Nanny Nettle, slips out a secret door in the palace walls on her bicycle, and heads straight for the nearest candy store.
