Who Stole Panda Bradley's Mirror? — Gui Jie Zhang

Gui Jie Zhang is the author of the books The Basket, The Bamboo Forest and Darkness Can't Penetrate Unity. She is an international artist known for her joyous depictions of Biblical subjects of paintings. Skilled in the traditional Chinese and Western paintings, she has also developed a style that she calls “Peasant Art.” Beginning in the early 1990’s her art was being shown in exhibitions in the United States, Holland, Norway and Japan. She is best known in the United States for her paintings on the 1994 Presbyterian planning calendar and on The Learning Bible; also with many art shows. In 1989 she won the short fiction literature top prize in China.
