Description
Unusual circumstances at the end of the Civil War caused a bitter misunderstanding between farming neighbors concerning a land sale. Animosity lingered between their heirs until year 2003, when Rebecca Truett and Carson Steele butted heads over the disputed land. Resolution of the 138 year old feud appeared impossible. Their conflict intensified and emotions erupted many times, producing a love-hate relationship. Carson adopted Oscar Wilde's attitude, 'Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much,' and a unique tranquility fell over the disputed land.
