Young Danny Dakota is obsessed with a 1960s rock band called The Rocking Tones that died from a bus explosion in 1964. After he learns of a time machine from a physics professor, he sneaks off to 1964 with Cindy Perry. They venture back to 1964 with the mission of preventing this rock bank from perishing in that explosion.
