For the ship echoed with ominous portents: its cargo was a dead man's ashes and a golden, jewel-encrusted statue; and it carried an assortment of passengers who appeared to share a sinister secret. As Charlotte's terror mounted, she was confronted by a savage murder...and the possibility that the ship's captain -- her own husband -- was the killer.
