Colleen — Eva Gibson

Colleen, now on her own, is determined to develop her talents as a seascape artist. She is also looking for an inner peace that seems to continually elude her. Her friend Pete does what he can to help her in this search.

Her new-found independence, however, is shattered by a storm which destroys her oceanside house and her beloved paintings. After a stranger has led her to safety, Colleen is troubled by a nameless and growing fear as she attempts to recapture the free-spirited feeling found in her former paintings.

Some clues from the past -- a foreboding house with an overgrown hedge, a concealed garden, a pendant inside a sundial and a dimly remembered love story -- reach into Colleen's present and future.
