Brooke and Elliot reconciled their relationship over coffee twenty-five years later in an effort to help each other piece their broken lives back together. Brooke struggles with settling her divorce, and they both struggle with helping their own, grown children cope with the idea of their parents seeing other people so soon. But the circumstances prove challenging for the rekindled lovers, who begin to realize how much they've changed over the past two decades. They do everything in their power to make their relationship work, and after a while it seems like smooth sailing.
