When world-renowned Ballet Canada schedules a week of performances in San Francisco, Leah is thrilled and her friend Kay is beside herself with excitement. After following the career of prima ballerina Lynne Vreeland for years, Kay will finally get a chance to see her idol perform live.

Soon it's announced that the students will be filling walk-on roles with the troupe, but instead of acting pleased, Kay suddenly loses her enthusiasm. Is it just stage fright, or is Kay having second thoughts about her dancing career?
