Maddie — Edward Drobinski

A pro football player wakes up to a post-apocalyptic world. The vast majority of the population is gone and there has been a communications shutdown. On his westward journey he takes in a mute little girl named Maddie, not knowing that she might hold the key to the cause of the disaster.
