By the time Deri arrives in the small town in the north of England, her cousin has vanished--just when he was on the brink of solving the family mystery, just when he had stumbled upon the Castle Drai.

Undaunted, Deri set out to penetrate the forbidding castle and outwit its bizarre inhabitants.
