Becoming a Latter-day Saint reawakens love in a young widow's life: eternal love for the husband she learns is not lost forever-and love for the man who wants her to be his wife now. Kate Warden, a pilot, often goes to the skies to find peace and solutions to problems. Then she meets Dave, a widower with three children, and finds that love can come into her life again. He asks her to spend the rest of her life with him, and she could happily say yes, except for two problems: Dave's teen daughter and son don't want another woman in Dad's life, and Kate can't help worrying how Steve would feel about her sharing life with another man. The situation seems irresolvable, until a surprising experience in the skies teaches her that love is more encompassing than she knew.
