Abram Matthews is a lexicon, able to interpret and understand any language. He is also a Keeper Saint, serving the Council of Virtues, by investigating any and all crimes involving the use, or misuse of magic. Torn between two worlds, Abram is being offered a choice between opportunities that most people would kill to have. Abram is not so sure he wants to take either. He has his hands full already, with evil sorcerers, cult leaders, werewolves, vampires, and a prince ready to declare war on the Council. Add to that learning to use the ancient, magic battle armor he's been given, and Abram has a lot on his plate.
