This is the continuing adventure series with Jessica, a former police officer with the LAPD, who leads trail rides in the wine country and runs a B&B on the California coast.Jess is asked to lead a backpacking trip on the John Muir Trail in the California Sierra. She runs into trouble with kidnappers, but has help from good friends and a mystical entity. Her high-country adventures are dangerous, but beautiful with glacial lakes and snow-covered peaks.
