Joanna Sanderson didn't have high expectations for her junior year. Between overly critical teachers and her natural impulse for mayhem, all Jo could count on was detention, a handful of smoke bombs, and a passing grade won by the skin of her teeth.

She certainly didn't expect to be kidnapped by dragons.

Now she and her classmates are caught in a game of intrigue and trapped on an alien world. The Dragon Queen wants the kids to become her riders...and the others want human as their very next meal.
