This is the fifth book in the Xara Smith Mysteries Series. In this adventure Xara Smith, our tall, 30 something, female, detective goes to Arkansas to enjoy her fifteenth high-school reunion. She is hardly in town before the mystery begins. Xara helps a good old boy retired sheriff solve a cold case set of murders that started while Xara was still in high-school and would have culminated at the wedding of one of her classmates except that Xara and the sheriff foil the last crime, and take the unlikely suspect into custody.
