At least that's what Julie Domino kept telling herself. Normally, she taught economic theory at New York University and led a quiet life. But when Julie's radical filmmaker-sister, Emery, is reported missing in Greece, Julie's the only one who can go to find her.

Julie is at first baffled by Emery's disappearance. Then she begins to discover clues that lead her to Lebanon, London and back to New York City, where the complex truth is finally revealed!
