A Year to Remember…

When the farewells were over and the huge liner Liberte was gliding out of New York harbor, Jody Scott, a slender girl of 15, stood at the railing, alone and uncertain, homesick for her father and friends.

Jody was going to Europe alone, to attend school in Switzerland with students from many countries, with whom she would have to communicate in the best French she could manage.

This is the story of a young, pretty and frightened girl, who grimly decided to make the best of a challenging situation, and suddenly finds she is having a wonderful time.
