Son — Andre Carter

Anthony loves his mother very much.  She is the only parent that he has ever known.  His mother has reared him with all of the essentials that comprise an ideal home environment.  But the love that she pours on her son is drowning him in emotional confusion and confining him in his development in the understanding of the love that a woman desires and is allowed to have for a man.  Anthony does not want his mother to have this because he is afraid of losing his sole provider, protector, healer, and stablizer.  When he finally has to face his biggest fear, the challenge is unbearable.  He journeys out on a quest to make sense of which is the greater love; the love that a woman shares with a man or the love that she has for her son.
