The city is Neopolitan, a conflicted collection of in-your-face sensibilities just on the cusp of hipster discovery, and the year is 1998. Erin Patricia Pierce has just turned twenty-one and has decided she wants to achieve three things: 1) move out of her mother's house before they kill each other; 2) quit her job at Flaming Jackass pizza parlor (and land one at the infamous Acid Pit club) before ‘Ed the Head' fires her; and 3) date that cute guy with the hazelnut cream eyes. Alex James has created over one hundred freaks, victims, geeks, villains, super-freaks, allies, and super-super-freaks to help and hinder Erin on her increasingly obsessive quests. You will cheer for Erin as she fights her most dreaded enemy -- herself -- and jeer the hormone- and drug-fueled decisions that lead her on a gleefully destructive spiral down many rabbit holes.
