      About This Book

      This story's narrator, along with his two equally ambivalent coworkers, merely want to cut grass all day, and get drunk all night. A simple enough life. Except that this new account, the Radcliff property, grows at an unprecedented rate. Weekly mowings soon become every few days, culminating in the need to cut the Radcliff lawn every day, as the grass grows impossibly high overnight. The reason for this phenomenon isn't important to the trio of lawn care professionals, who care only about the female denizens of Carp's Place, the local tavern. Yet forces may be at work, dark and incomprehensible, and prepared to trap the narrator in his own seemingly pointless and irrelevant life.
