Krystle was a normal kid by some people's standards. If you were to ask her parents, she was just a "special" child. Krystle's mother knew that something definitely wasn't right with her child. Given the situation, Krystle's father does what he feels is necessary to take care of the problem at hand. When Krystle starts to become too much, that's when her aunt, Courtney, comes into play.
