      On a skiing vacation in Colorado, Allen Crawford, the President of the United States, is seized by severe spasms after making love with his mistress. A howling blizzard prevents his evacuation to Denver. The sudden appearance of a visiting San Francisco specialist at the Vail hospital cheers the meager local medical staff, who work feverishly to save the President's life.
      It isn't until his return to Washington that the terror begins to unfold. Someone has gained control of his body, and he suffers periodic life-threatening situations. Clues to who may be stalking him are obscured by murder, and the intimidation of his closest friends. A diabolical twist finally brings this drama to it's end.
