She's been erased 311 times.

Each time, they strip her memories, remove the people she loves, and put her back to work lighting broken dreams. Each time, she finds her way back to the friend they keep taking. Each time, they take her again.

Lixiss doesn't know any of this. She only knows her plate broke and her mother told her she couldn't come home.

But someone is about to give her memories back — all of them — because Dreamland is falling apart and the system that keeps erasing her can't fix what's coming. A dream lord is trapped in a nightmare of her own making, and her broken dreams are eating worlds.

To save Dreamland, Lixiss will have to become the thing the system was designed to prevent: a Dreamlander who dreams.
