When TV reporter Gail Stroud boards the Sapphire Orchid, she is the only single women aboard. That’s because the ship has a reputation as a place where infertile couples miraculously conceive. But thanks to a humiliating event that occurred on live TV, Gail no longer has a husband. Holding on to hope that she can still conceive the child she’s been yearning for, Gail wonders if she should lure a crew member into her cabin for a quickie. When she unexpectedly stumbles onto the ship’s secret, Gail turns investigative reporter as she digs into how a tiny village in Haiti is linked, and discovers the ship and all its passengers are suddenly in danger. Feeling her baby clock nonstop ticking, Gail also finds herself drawn to a passenger named Jason Applegate, a brooding, mysterious man who may or may not be a diamond thief and who appears to have secrets of his own.
