Viejo and the Ranger

Jason Bernard Ramsey II falls into despair and confusion after the tragic loss of his family. The dismay he receives from the law and his faith foundation push him to leave his home and pursue a life of crime. He transforms into Jack Short and discovers two skills he did not know he had a fast draw and the ability to kill without remorse. These two skills put him at odds with his faith foundation and the law. Two people seek to stop him. If you break the law in Texas, you must answer to the Texas Rangers. This duty falls upon Lee Brannon. Viejo joins with the ranger in the pursuit but for another reason. Along the way the three discover there is no real code of etches among thieves and no misdeeds go unpunished. Unexpectedly a friendship develops along the way and a very unusual final request of an outlaw to a lawman.
