Saul Imbierowicz led an unremarkable life, until Al Capone murdered him, and he was reborn as a vampire. Now Saul works for Eliot Ness, trying to take down Chicago' s most notorious gangster. Being a vampire has its ups and downs and Saul has a million questions about his new " life" . Al Capone offers to answer Saul' s questions, but for a price that Saul is unwilling to pay. When the mysterious Mr. Brown returns, Saul learns that a vampire war is brewing. As Saul struggles to keep himself from becoming a monster like Capone, he must work with Agent Christian Wright, a task which is easier said than done. Christian would rather stake Saul than work with him, but Christian knows that a vampire war would be disastrous. This fledgling partnership must succeed, or Chicago will pay the price.
