About This Book

Ted Johnson is meditating on the mountain peak behind his home, when an Eagle dives to him carrying visions of attrocities afflicting the Navajo people. Ted, a wealthy semi-retired contractor, trades in his road grading heavy equipment for a Hughes Helicopter and learns to fly like the Eagle. His wife, Jen, is in a hospital bed suffering from an acute case of depression. Ted is devastated to leave her alone, but sets out for the Navajo Nation where he discovers an ancient city and meets a medicine man who changes his life, while teaching him how to interpret the visions. Philip Willowby, an orthopedic surgeon and evil incarnate, is also searching for the lost city. But, he is killing everyone who gets in his way on his quest to destroy the rainbow bridge that leads the Navajo people to eternity.
