Unexpected News

Unexpected News is a fictional novel about a young lady named Sally Jones, receiving the news from her doctor that she has contracted HIV. The news is too much for her to bear, causing her to be emotionally shocked to her core and lost in thinking her life is ending and hopeless without anything to live for. Imagining what sharing the sad news with her parents would do to them was the hardest thing she had to do. Would they still love and accept her now that she was infected with HIV? The phone call to her parents nearly took their breath away. �What did we do to deserve this? Are we to blame for Sally's dilemma?� they asked themselves.

Jerome Martin, the young minister from Harvest Valley, learns the news about Sally but is also touched with tears shimmering as he also spoke words of comfort to them. �Of all the things that could happen in the life of a country pastor, this is the last thing that I would have expected in a small town like Harvest Valley,� he thought.
