UNCERTAIN DESTINY is the first of a three part trilogy of two aristocratic families, torn apart by war during the French Revolution. The saga begins in Paris in 1973. As King's Counsel, le Comte D'Orsay is about to be guillotined his beautiful wife faints. As Angelique falls to the ground she lets go of their young daughter's hand. Our protagonist is a strong-minded, feisty young woman who finds true and everlasting love when she meets a handsome naval officer, Lieutenant James Lowndes.
