      Jericho's small comfortable life as a Chip technology professor at Prime University takes a quick turn when one of his creations, chip MlD, a chip designed to transmute matter and energy, creates a living body for itself and comes to life. He soon finds himself whirling through space and meeting with an advance species of beings known as the Imperial Ones, who are urging his empire, the Tek Empire, to become part of a federation of an empire more than 1,000 galaxies extending through space.
