      When Sheriff Dale Tyree found his young stepsister, Maria, brutally raped and murdered by a gang of six desperados, he quit his job and embarked on a long trail of vengeance which took him from Texas into Mexico, then to El Paso, the Indian Territory, Kansas, and finally, the Wyoming Territory. Surviving several attempts on his life, Dale tracked down all six murderers. The final grim tally was three desperados dead after a gun-battle, one accidentally strangled, and two hanged by the law.
