It's not easy to find work as an actor, but for lifelong friends Phil LaMonte and Gary Parker, the task became damned near impossible. When Phil struck fellow actor Trent LeGault in a moment of anger, the blow resulted in near-expulsion from the industry. When a couple of Las Vegas hookers stole their money and left them stranded in the States, the gossip columns exploded with the news. When their wives divorced them and Trent worked behind the scenes to block the two men from finding jobs, then things really got tough.

Desperate to recapture their fading celebrity status, Phil and Gary come up with a desperate plan--kidnap Trent LeGault, the darling of Canadian television. Through Trent, they hoped to re-ignite their stalled careers... but Phil and Gary found out that when they thought they lost everything, there was one more thing left to lose--their friendship.
