The O'Farrells, the Zimas, the Erney, and the Medinas, decide to adopt a baby, but their adoption was illegal, and so their infants were taken away. They decide steal a baby for each of them, giving the new infant the same name as their first, and thus simply replacing one with another. They were able to get away with the abduction for over twenty years, but now Jonas, one of the victims brother is looking for her. Zander Stanley, a young man who had almost been kidnapped as an infant, gives Jonas the first clue of finding her. Cheri lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband, Dan.
