Blessing in Disguise

Jonathan Vanderleigh's invitation to visit Jaeger's Nest was just what Maggie needed after her father's sudden death. The old New Jersey estate, so peaceful and secluded, seemed like a godsend and worked like a tranquilizer to calm Maggie's anxieties and fears.

Then she discovered the magnificent Buddhist shrine that lay hidden in the woods. Where did it come from? And why was it there? Maggie had received a note from her father who had been at the estate right before his death saying that he had found a touch of Tibet in New Jersey. Was this what he meant? Is so, could it have somehow been the cause of his death?

She should have kept her new-found suspicions to herself--but how could she have known? Someone was turning this heavenly haven into hell...and the person wanted her dead!
