      About This Book

      The Trials Of The Westward Trail is the first sequel to The Back-Up Girl. The story involves traveling the old California Trail. Dan Lindeen intends to take six freight wagons, each with six mules hitched, over the trail to California. Dan gets hurt physically and cant travel. There is a misunderstanding between Dan and his bride. She goes on with the train, leaving him behind. The trials include dissention among the immigrants. Also Indians attack. And people get separated from the train.
