About This Book
Prophet Uzair or Ezra was one of the Jewish prophets and his name had been mentioned once in the Holy Quran. The Jews called him Ezra. His father and mother lived in a region called Jerusalim and the Heaven granted them two twins sons. One was Uzair and the other was Uzrah. Both of them grew up beside each others till they reached the age of 30. After marriage, Prophet Ezra (Uzair) decided to take a trip. Therefore, he bade farewell to his relatives, and took with him some fig and fresh fruit juice to feed them. On the way, he arrived at a village which had been frightfully mixed up and destroyed and even the bones of its residents had been decayed. Upon seeing this frightful view, he deeply thought how God can revive the dead? In fact, his question was not due to his denial but was due to his amazement. But suddenly, God took his soul and joined him amongest the dead. After 100 years, God brought him back to life and an angel appeared to him from God and asked Him: How long have you slept in the wilderness? He thought that he had slept for an hour and in his reply, he said: One day or less. The angel told him: You had been here for 100 years and now, look at your food and drinking and see how they are safe and sound and faced no harm by the power of God. If you want to believe you had died, look at your donkey and see how God separated and scattered all its organs. And now, look very carefully how God collects all its organs and revives it again. When he saw the view, he said: I do know God has power over everything. Now, I got peace of mind and understand the issue of the Ressurection wholeheartily and my heart became full of faith Prophet Hud or Eber is the name of a prophet of ancient Arabia, who is mentioned in the Qur'an.
