The Special Guest

The Holiday season has arrived and Richmond, Virginia is bustling with activity. For the Reids, however, Christmas marks the anniversary of the accident and looms as a dreaded reminder that a year ago their lives were changed forever.

Sixteen year old Scott Reid is working on Saturday, the day before Christmas Eve, when he meets a stranger at an outdoor cafe. The elderly man, dressed in clothes as outdated as his antique Packard automobile, explains that he was passing through Richmond when his car broke down. Realizing the man will be stranded over Christmas, Scott invites him home to spend the holiday with his family.

Soon after the guest arrives, unexpected events begin to occur, leaving the Reids wondering if something more than coincidence has brought the stranger to their home. The weekend climaxes Christmas morning when they discover who their guest really is. What they learn may be the most mysterious part of all...
