The Slayer's Affair

Samantha witnesses the brutal murder of her parents, as a child, and dedicates her life to destroying the creatures that were responsible. Unbeknownst to her, she was ‘marked’ by one of the vampires that same night. During her many years as a vampire slayer, she becomes well respected in her field. Only a few other slayers know of her past and why she is so obsessive in her quest. One day she attempts a mission alone. Death seems eminent for her until it is discovered by the vampires that she is marked by the lead vampire, Montague. Events unfold that change Samantha’s life upon discovering why she has been singled out. The very world she had vowed to destroy has now encompassed her life placing her in danger, as well as the ones she has grown to love. In a climactic ending, one truth is revealed â€" never cross a vampire.
