The Runaway Princess

Imperious, bewildered, and a bit naive, Katriana Saint Ranganeaux is a modern-day princess - and a runaway. Fleeing her arranged betrothal to a seventy-nine-year-old man seemed like a good idea, but life in the real world is very perplexing for someone who has never even had to dress herself. Ian Grayson is a burnt-out racecar driver who is licking his wounds after a racing accident that almost killed him and may yet kill his career. He craves solitude so that he can heal-and drink-in peace. But his self-pity marathon in his Daytona Beach condo is interrupted by a ruckus, accompanied by a string of exotic curses, from the condo next door. Against his better judgment, Ian investigates and finds the very famous, and very missing, Princess Katrina-alarmingly beautiful and in desperate need of assistance. An unexpected streak of chivalry rears its head and Ian ends up cooking her dinner, straightening up her considerable clutter ... and offering to marry her?
