About This Book

This is a story about a New York City Police Detective's journey through the back alleys of the crime ridden streets of Brooklyn, N.Y. How the detectives and others like him handled the everyday sometimes mundane and sometimes deadly situations of everyday police work and investigations. It is said that “Many are called but few are chosen”. This is a story of a group of chosen ones, their trials and tribulations, their ups and downs, surviving on at time cigarettes and liquor and at times an occasional woman; often then not the mother of their children. Sometimes saints and other times sinners. This is their story as I remember it.
